Re: Hope for the future
Thu, May 18, 2006 - 11:23 AMI love how the Fox News headline is so sensationalistic and off point. Anything to incite their base.
If one goes to the source of the article, the title is more mild:
How Children Learn About God and Science

Re: Hope for the future
Thu, June 8, 2006 - 4:20 PMOne could "blame" computer games and gaming: there's an extreme focus on cause and effect both in the hardware and the software. The same goes for technology in the wider world. Kids today are born into a technological world where there's a concrete reason for everything that happens. Even the weather report is far more technological than ever before. Cause and effect, action and reaction, you get the picture. Even the theists are helping for once: seeing some rabid foaming-at-the-mouth (insert relgion here) claiming some calamity or mass murder was "god's will" just further underscores their lack of credability.
the adults are lost, focus on the children.
