  I thought it was funny.
  
  The parody, though, cuts both ways. If you're a believer then the message is that there is no meaning without religion. On the other hand, if you're a non-believer the message is that religious people have built and spend too great an effort on silly rituals.
  
  I see it as circular logic. The believers have built these silly rituals out of fallacy and have now given the rituals themselves meaning.
